Alaska Department of Fish and Game

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has extensive wildlife conservation for species that migrate to the North. There is an emphasis on habitat management and the commitment for the health of a number of species. The Tule Goose's wide range and migratory area will be researched this spring. In addition, Steller's Eiders, which winter pretty far north in southern Alaska, are expected to migrate to northern Alaska and to the west into far northeast Russia!
